The small estate (14 acres) of Isabelle & Jérémy Decoster Coiffier (former De Moor trainees), in Bugey, is the haven of herbal, dry, and delicious wines. Working organically, avoiding the intrants, except, if really necessary, sulfur in minimal doses. More introverted and minerally on the nose with hints of pear. In the mouth, it’s a round and very dry middleweight carried on a current of smooth acidity. Flavours are neutralish, though there’s an unmissable savour along with pronounced minerality. Good finish.
